We had tried for over a year to get pregnant so obviously this is going to take awhile to deal with.

This was our first pregnancy so it's all new regardless. It started Sunday night/Monday morning at about 0200 and there was a lot of 's Tuesday morning now and I'm still bleeding fairly heavily, however it has tapered off yesterday and last night so I'm guessing it comes in waves. I just had a miscarriage as well at 11 weeks. I spoke with the doctor doing my surgery for 45 minutes before I decided what to do because I just didn't know. Your doctor can't make you do one or the other but they can suggest things. What you do (wait for it, pills, or D&C is up to you). They had warned me about bleeding but not the pain, I ended up in the ER the following day with what they told me were contractions because my body was trying to get the stuff that was still there out. So I did the D&C.everything went ok but they didn't take enough out so I ended up still going through as though I had had the pills about 5 days later. I waited another few days and my body didn't do it naturally so I had a D&C a week after finding out (so when I should have been 12 weeks) I didn't do the pills because I didn't want to just wait for it to happen-and I didn't want my husband to have to see me in that pain.

My body didn't realize what had happened so the only reason I went to the ER was because I had some brown blood one morning. I had a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks in April (baby stopped growing at 7 weeks with no heartbeat).
